CASS at USRSE’26

Join us at USRSE’26 for activities across the conference program representing CASS members CORSA, FASTMath, and PESO.

Many people who contribute to scientific software stewardship identify as research software engineers (RSEs). The annual US-RSE conference is the leading U.S. opportunity for RSEs and their collaborators to gather and share their work and experiences.

We are pleased to be a part of this year’s edition, taking place 19-21 October 2026 in San Jose, California, with a variety of talks, posters, workshops, and birds-of-a-feather sessions. Of special note are activities related to the Better Scientific Software (BSSw) Fellowship program. In addition to recognizing BSSw fellows and honorable mention recipients during the awards portion of the plenary, many awardees will be presenting their work individually.
